PARM parameter • The PARM parameter is used to supply information to a program. • A maximum of 100 characters can be passed through PARM parameter. • If the PARM field contains special characters like commas, spaces, parentheses etc you should enclose the entire field in the apostrophes. • The information is usually used to influence the way the program works. • Any information coded into the PARM field is program-dependent. • Example: //STEP1 EXEC PGM=MYPGM,PARM="CORRUPTION" |
