Positional parameter of JOB statement NAME stands for Programmer Name The name parameter follows the job accounting information parameter. It identifies the owner of the job. The name can be from one to 20 characters long. The absence of this positional parameters is indicated via a comma. Examples: //JCL1234 JOB J123,GANESH Here "GANESH" is the Programmer Name. //JCL1234 JOB J123,, Here Programmer Name is absent and its absence is indicated with a comma. //JCL1234 JOB ,, Here Both the Positional Parameters ACCT and NAME are absent and they are indicated with comma. |
